Beginning in Farsite Universe is challenging. There are so much opportunities outside in space, but you need to take care of your items and ships. What I recommend for every new player in this game type is to start with basics. This is not a game where you will just equip weapons and jump in space to loot other players. First you need to learn basics and make new friends. Start with mining resources. Community always needs resources. Find your way to join respectable Corporation. Connect with people on discord like Farsite Guide Discord, or other platforms where you can voice chat – at least to listen and learn from what other teammates will say. With good teammates, your beginning will be pleasurable experience. You will grow and upgrade your assets like ships fast, as well as becoming better skilled player.
From experienced players you will learn about big picture and how things go in Farsite Universe. There is heavy diplomatic and politic hierarchy which is not visible to newcomers. Whole constelations with hundreds of Stars can be in war against other parts of space. In some parts of map any player that is not part of Corporation or their allies will be attackdr and destroyed. Players simply defend their teritorry and assets. Example, players can destroy Station, and with that they can destroy huge amount of items stored there. That can be your items and ships, so it is reasonable that you will defend against enemies.
